Rob MAJELISON, Associate Professor, School of Business and Public Relations, Wenzhou-KEan University: Now that we’ve talked about relationships in business and relationships in negotiations, I think the most important thing is to have an open mind, to recognize that we need each other, that we want to work together, that it’s win-win, that it’s good for both sides, and that requires wisdom and understanding of each other’s cultures. Next week, some of you will travel to the United States to get their perspective, to see how they think, and what their needs are.

In the class I teach, many American students and Chinese students have classes together, when the students interact and talk to each other, build friendship and get to know each other, you can see the Chinese students grow. At the same time, American students are growing.
China-us relations bear on the well-being of our two peoples and the future and destiny of mankind. Educational exchanges and cooperation will help the people of the two countries, especially the young people, get closer to each other. It is a future project for the development of China-Us relations.
