The manufacturer of this batch of fire extinguishers is Dongguan Mengqichuang Fire Protection Technology Co., Ltd. They were sold to Shenzhen Jintian Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Branch of Jiangsu Huajian Construction Co., Ltd., and then they flowed into Xichang Garden Residential Area.
After receiving the report, the relevant departments worked together and cooperated closely, achieving efficient communication and conducting joint law enforcement actions. It is learned that the manufacturer of this batch of fire extinguishers is Mengqichuang Fire Technology Co., Ltd. in Dongguan City.
Yesterday afternoon, outside the company located in Zhongtang Town, Dongguan, there were several staff members from the market supervision department on site. According to the staff, the market supervision departments at both the municipal and Zhongtang Town levels had intervened in the investigation in the morning of the same day, questioned the company’s person in charge, and took the products back for inspection.
Inside the factory building of this company, it can be observed that the production has been halted on site. A large number of semi-finished fire extinguishers and production materials are piled up on the ground. No workers are found present.
We have interviewed the town government regarding the issue of how many substandard products are still circulating in the market and whether the relevant departments of Zhongtang Town will take measures against the involved company. According to the feedback, the local relevant departments have already initiated an investigation, but as of the time of this report, there has been no specific response yet.
