Pinglu Canal is a key project of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. It is the first canal project built in New China that connects rivers and reaches the sea. There is no reference model for its construction in China. The earthwork and rockwork volume of 315 million cubic meters is three times that of the Three Gorges Dam. It is building the world’s largest inland river ship lock, with high technical content and great construction difficulty.
Over the past two years and more, the builders of the Pinglu Canal have been dedicated and selfless. They have created a high-quality, green and clean project of the Pinglu Canal with high standards, high quality and high efficiency.
