However, despite such strong market demand, there is a huge gap in the supply of talent. Wang Xuenan, deputy director of the Institute of Digital Education of the Chinese Academy of Education Sciences, pointed out that in 2024, the number of students majoring in artificial intelligence in China will be about 40,000.
