On March 5, with the completion of the welding of the last section of the steel box girder, the world’s first single-tower cable-stayed cable-suspension cooperative system bridge – the main bridge of the Tengzhou Xunjiang Bridge was successfully closed. As one of the control projects of the whole line of Pingcen Expressway, after the bridge is closed, it is about to enter the stage of bridge deck pavement.

Tengzhou Xunjiang Bridge is located in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, with a total length of 1,604 meters, a main tower of 238 meters and a main span of 1,276 meters. According to reports, the bridge is planned to be opened to traffic in the second quarter of this year, using the two-way four-lane highway construction standard, with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. After the bridge is opened to traffic, the travel time between the two sides of the strait will be reduced from one hour to five minutes.
