
On March 6th, ByteDance released the “Report of the Enterprise Discipline and Professional Ethics Committee for the Fourth Quarter of 2024”, dismissing 353 employees who violated regulations and pursuing criminal responsibility for 39 of them.
According to the report, a total of 90 employees were dismissed for violating the company’s red line, of which 73 employees reported anonymously, and 17 employees who maliciously harmed the company’s interests reported in their real names.
Among the 17 employees reported by their real names, 9 were transferred to the judicial authorities for suspected criminal offenses, and the alliance was synchronized and the options were cancelled. One person was also synchronized with the industry alliance and cancelled the option due to the heinous violation.
