From March 14 to April 14 in 2025, the Yangtze River Delta Railway is expected to send 86 million passengers, with an average of 2.688 million passengers per day, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year.

The key routes of the Yangtze River Delta Railway Spring Tour are Beijing-Shanghai, Shanghai-Kunming, Shanghai-Nanjing, Hangzhou-Changzhou, Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake high-speed railways, as well as Hangzhou-Shenzhen and Jinwen railways. According to the travel needs of passengers, the railway department plans to increase the number of passenger trains by 29 pairs, including 28 pairs of high-speed rail EMU trains, increase the transport capacity of Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Hefei and other core cities in the Yangtze River Delta and popular tourist destinations such as Yangzhou, Huangshan and Qiandao Lake, and take measures such as EMU reconnection and long marshalling operation to increase capacity and seats as needed.
