This young man, whose energy seems to never run out, has developed an industrial cluster integrating poultry breeding, processing and sales in 10 years, with an annual output value of up to 120 million yuan, and has written a new chapter with action.
Tang Minghui was born in an ordinary rural family in Zhongjiang County, Deyang, and should have had a carefree childhood, but he suffered a car accident at the age of 7, which made him have more than 200 stitches in his lower limbs, and was assessed as a fourth-grade physical disability. “I don’t think I’m a special person, I should be an ordinary person, you have to say that I can’t, I have to fight.”
Because of his special experience, Tang Minghui liked the countryside and animals since he was a child, and it was almost natural to choose the veterinary medicine major of Sichuan Agricultural University. After graduating, he returned to his hometown to start a business, and successively raised loaches, mullets, etc., but due to lack of practical experience, they all ended in failure, and all the money saved in school work-study was wasted, and he owed a lot of debts to relatives and friends. He didn’t care about being discouraged, turned his head to learn from the scriptures everywhere, and accidentally learned that an alumnus was breeding ecological chickens in Anyue and needed a partner, so he came to Anyue with his bags on his back.
“Everything has to start from scratch, finding venues, talking about cooperation, and finding sales channels, every step is not easy.” In 2015, Tianhu Native Chicken Breeding Professional Cooperative was established to concentrate on the study of running pheasant breeding technology. With strict control of quality, Tang Minghui has won a good reputation, and the market share has been rising, and now there are 3 breeding bases, 360,000 chickens, and an annual output value of about 30 million yuan.
Group 13 of Guihu Village, Zhouli Town, has a designated slaughterhouse for Tang Minghui. In the hands of the workers, the fat chickens are decomposed and sorted, and are about to be sent to all parts of the country. Tang Minghui has never been satisfied with being a farmer, he believes that if you rely on only a small group of people, not only will the profits be meager, but also the ability to resist risks will be low. Therefore, he actively planned, the establishment of the Tianhu poultry breeding professional cooperative association, opened a slaughterhouse, he himself from the breeding technology to the transformation of sales, into the fresh market, breaking the “difficult to raise chickens, difficult to sell chickens” historical dilemma, innovation “production-supply-marketing” has a “chicken” consortium.
At present, the association has developed and established 137 breeding bases and 3 slaughterhouses in Ziyang, Deyang, Mianyang, Yunnan, Chongqing and other places, with an annual slaughter volume of 1.7 million chickens, 3-50,000 slaughtered per day, a total output value of about 120 million yuan, and 3,000 people are employed and started businesses. Tang Minghui also actively participated in the exchange of scientific breeding technology, and taught his professional knowledge and wealth experience to farmers without reservation, and trained more than 2,600 people, many of whom were disabled like him. “In fact, most people with disabilities don’t want special treatment from others, and only want to create value through their own hands.” Tang Minghui said.
Facing the future, Tang Minghui has a very clear plan, “We will open up the qualifications and information for the port, and go to the world through the port, and the ultimate goal is to become a ‘Huawei company’ in the agricultural sector, with full shareholding and all dividends.”
