Homemade fluffy chicken cake, simple steps to teach you how to make it!

Homemade chicken cakes are not only a delicious confectionery, but also a fun way to make your own. Many people may think that making chicken cakes requires complicated steps and great skill, but in fact, with the right method, chicken cakes can be made very easily and the results are amazing. In this article, you’ll learn how to make a fluffy and delicious chicken cake with the simplest steps and common ingredients. Whether it is used as breakfast, afternoon tea, or a small snack for a party, it is a very suitable choice.

Ingredients: 4 eggs, 100g caster sugar, 100g cake flour, 50ml milk, 30g unsalted butter (melted), 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of vanilla extract (optional)

Steps:

Preheat the oven: First, preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F), prepare an 8-inch cake mold, line the bottom with baking paper, and spread a small amount of butter around the sides to prevent sticking.

Whip the eggs: Place the eggs and caster sugar in a large bowl and beat them with an electric whisk at high speed. During the whipping process, the egg liquid will turn light yellow and foamy until it expands in volume and takes on a thick texture.

Add the liquid ingredients: In the whipped egg mixture, add the milk and melted butter and continue to stir well. If you like vanilla flavor, you can add a little vanilla extract to add flavor.

Mix dry ingredients: Sift cake flour and baking powder to make sure there are no particles. Then gently add the dry material to the wet material in two separate parts, stirring gently with a spatula in a stirring manner to avoid defoaming.

Pour into the mold: Pour the stirred batter into the prepared cake mold, gently shake the mold, exclude large bubbles, and make the batter more flat.

Baking: Place the molds in a preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. A toothpick can be inserted for a test when baking for 20 minutes, and if the toothpick is pulled out clean, it means that the chicken cake is baked.

Cooling and demoulding: Once the chicken cake is baked, remove the molds and place on a cooling rack to cool to room temperature. Allow the cake to cool slightly, then gently remove the mold, cut into pieces and enjoy.

Tips:

When beating the eggs, make sure that the egg mixture is beaten in place, otherwise the chicken cake will not be fluffy enough.

When mixing the batter, avoid over-stirring so as not to affect the fluffy texture.

Do not open the oven door during baking to avoid temperature changes that may cause the cake to collapse.

Depending on personal taste, some fruits or nuts can be added to add flavor and texture.

If you don’t have an electric whisk, you can beat eggs manually, but it may take more time and patience.

With a simple operation, you can make a fluffy, sweet chicken cake. Imagine a freshly baked chicken cake with an enticing aroma and a light and soft taste that brings a lot of satisfaction with every bite. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can add a variety of toppings to your personal preferences to create more innovative chicken cakes. Whether you are a beginner or someone with some baking experience, you can get a sense of accomplishment and enjoy cooking food. So, give it a try, and you’ll be amazed at the delicious chicken cake you’ve made!
