I once read a story that was impressive.
Former British Prime Minister Lloyd George would close the door behind him wherever he was.
Once, he strolled through the courtyard with a friend, and every time he passed through a door, he would close it in time.
My friend was puzzled by his actions and felt that there was no need to close all the doors.
George explains: “When you close the door, you’re actually leaving the past behind you and starting a new life. ”
If you think about it, it does.
Not only are there too many doors to cross on the road of life, but there are also many more doors that need to be closed in time. Each door not only represents the past and the past, but also symbolizes the ups and downs of the past.
For women, closing the door means that no matter how many hardships and hardships they have experienced, they can maintain an attitude of not looking back, not clinging, and not tangled, so that they can truly make their lives full and rich.
In the journey of life, being able to close the door behind us is the greatest practice of our life.
For truly wise women, they have already closed the three doors of life, and the sooner they close, the better their lives.

1 Let go of the past and close the door to history
The Analects mentions: “If you don’t say what you do, you don’t tell what you do, and you don’t blame the past.” ”
In this world, some things are a foregone conclusion, and it is useless to continue to criticize them; Some things are predestined and cannot be changed; The past passes with the wind, and delving into it only adds to the pain.
It is better to cling to the past than to break off the past; It’s better to be immersed in the past than to live in the present.
Only when you truly let go of the past and close the door to history can you reconcile with yourself and understand the true meaning of life from the bottom of your heart.
In 1997, the daughter of writer Yang Jiang unfortunately passed away. Just a year later, her husband Qian Zhongshu also died in Beijing. was once a happy family of three, but only Yang Jiang was left. Relatives and friends were worried that she would not be able to bear the blow and came to comfort her. Yang Jiang showed unusual strength, she said that even if she was alone, she had to live a good life now, which was Qian Zhongshu’s instructions before his death. Since then, she has focused on writing, eating in moderation, and even at the age of 90, she still walks lightly.
In the Four Precepts of Lifan, it is written: “In the past, there were all kinds of things, such as yesterday’s death; From the latter, such as today, to be born. This sentence means that everything in the past has nothing to do with me, and that there are thousands of things in the future, and from this moment on, start from the beginning. A truly wise woman will not let herself live in the past, but know how to let go, close the door to the past, and live a wonderful present. The wheel is rolling forward, people should look forward, no matter what kind of predicament they encounter, they will eventually disappear, only by grasping the present, can they go more and more smoothly.

2 Clear in time and close the door to achievement
Have you ever heard of the “empty cup mentality” in psychology? To put it simply, the empty cup mentality is to abandon the past successes and gains, clear the zero in time, and start anew. The human mind is like a cup that is constantly filled and eventually overflows and can no longer hold anything. On the road of life, only by clearing the past in time and abandoning the past can we reopen the door to have more. Only by clearing zero in time and not sticking to the achievements of the past can women move forward bravely and live up to the time. I know an eldest sister who is conscientious and meticulous in her work, and has been praised by leaders and colleagues many times. After retirement, she turned from busy to idle, and many people would feel that she was useless, but she was able to clear it in time, believing that the past honors have disappeared, and the most important thing is to live the present well. As a result, she became a master of square dancing in the park, and even became the best lead dancer in a few months. She also enrolled in the University for the Elderly to expand her knowledge and make her life more and more valuable. In her, there is no bleakness, only sparkle. Only when women know how to clear in time in the journey of life can they be best responsible for themselves, and they also have the courage to start all over again, and they can live a wonderful life no matter what stage of life they are in. I didn’t love in the past, and I didn’t mess up in the present. Only by daring to clear the zero in time and close the door to achievement can we start a truly beautiful life.

3 Contentment closes the door of desire
The philosopher Socrates said, “Contentment is natural wealth, and desire is artificial poverty.” “In life, true happiness is not about having more, but about cherishing what you have now. Only when you can be content and happy and close the door of desire behind you will you reduce your inner fetters and struggles, and let yourself find the true meaning of life in this ordinary world. Grandma Liu in “Dream of Red Mansions” was born poor, but she is pure in nature, optimistic and cheerful, and knows the way of “contentment and happiness”. There is often a saying on her lips that “you can eat as much as you want when you keep the big bowl”, and because of this, she kept her heart, won the love of everyone in the Grand View Garden, and won a happy home for herself. There are also some women who are still driven by desire and anxious about life after living half of their lives. A woman has a happy family, and after years of hard work, the living conditions are gradually improving. When she was supposed to cherish her existing happiness and enjoy life, she compared herself with others everywhere, and saw that others had expensive leather bags, and she had to have them. Obviously you don’t need it, but you are dominated by your desires, and in the end, you not only deplete your savings, but also owe a huge amount of debt. The deeper you fall into desire, the more anxious life becomes. As the saying goes: “Cloth is warmer than brocade, and coarse tea and light rice are sweet.” “Everything in the world is just moderate, but too much. Instead of blindly pursuing what doesn’t belong to you, focus on living in the moment, cherishing the moment, and enjoying the moment. Don’t look at a mountain high, but walk steadily and live a fulfilling life, which is the best way to live in life.

There is a good saying: “It is true that people are sometimes powerless in the face of the facts that the door symbolizes, but what matters is the attitude you acquire towards the opening or closing of the door.” “The door is like life, and life is like a door. Whether it is a stormy or sunny day, knowing how to take the initiative to close the door of one’s life is to live a sober life – you should let go and give up some things, in order to truly live today, and life will be more exciting. May you live every day to the fullest in the years to come, not thinking about the past, living up to the present, and not being afraid of the future! -END-
