2. At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 21, a reporter asked that Trump signed an order to give TikTok a 75-day grace period. Trump said that in order to continue operating in the United States, TikTok needs to hand over 50 percent of its earnings to the United States. In this regard, spokesman Guo Jiakun said that China hopes that the US side will listen carefully to the voice of reason and provide an open, fair, just and non-discriminatory business environment for market players from all countries to operate in the United States. As for the operation and acquisition of enterprises, they should be decided by the enterprises themselves in accordance with market principles. If a Chinese enterprise is involved, it should comply with Chinese laws and regulations.

Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative of International Trade Negotiations, presided over a roundtable meeting of European enterprises to listen to suggestions on European enterprises in China. Ling Ji said that European companies are welcome to give full play to their own advantages and improve their competitiveness by investing in China and deeply cultivating China. The Ministry of Commerce will continue to provide good service guarantees for foreign-funded enterprises, including European enterprises, to invest and operate in China.4. The Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Center held a meeting of senior officials on Lancang-Mekong law enforcement and security cooperation in Kunming, Yunnan Province, at which it was pointed out that it is necessary to resolutely crack down on telecommunications network fraud and its derivative crimes, make every effort to coordinate the rescue of trapped people, arrest the leaders of criminal groups, and dismantle dens of wire fraud.
